About
French-Israeli abstract painter based in Tel Aviv.
Esther Cohen is a French-Israeli abstract painter based in Tel Aviv.
Her work is instinctive, emotional and deeply alive. Through vivid colours, raw gestures, layered textures and intuitive movement, she creates paintings that feel like inner landscapes — somewhere between memory, chaos, joy, vulnerability and transformation.
Before becoming fully dedicated to painting, Esther spent years working as a hypnotherapist, exploring the unconscious, emotions, symbols and the hidden images people carry inside them. This background still lives in her art. Her paintings are not planned in a traditional way; they emerge through sensation, rhythm and emotional truth.
Each canvas becomes a space where what is invisible can finally take form.
Her artistic universe is bold, colourful and unapologetically expressive: neon pinks, electric blues, yellows, greens, faces, symbols, abstract marks, fragments of stories and unexpected details. Her work invites viewers not only to look, but to feel.
Based in the heart of Tel Aviv, Esther creates from her studio-gallery, a vibrant space where art, human connection and creative freedom meet. The studio is both a working artist’s space and a place for intimate creative experiences through HEaRt Paint & Connect — painting sessions designed not as art classes, but as moments to reconnect with yourself, with others and with the joy of creating freely.
Her paintings are made for people who want more than decoration. They are for homes, spaces and collectors looking for emotion, energy, presence and a piece that carries a real story.
Art, for Esther, is not about perfection. It is about truth, movement, colour and connection.
